TRANSPORTATION

ARRIVAL

The points of arrival and departure for the European Universities Water Polo Championship 2023:

• Official Airport #1 (Liszt Ferenc International Airport, BUD)

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the bus that takes you to Miskolc

• The trip takes approx 2 hours

• Official Airport #2 (International Airport Debrecen, DEB)

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the bus that takes you to Miskolc

• The trip takes approx 2 hours

• Train Station: Tisza International Train Station, Miskolc and Bus Station: International Bus Station, Miskolc

   

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the shuttle that takes you to Campus 

• The trip takes approx. 10 mins

• Driving your own vehicle

• Arrive to University of Miskolc  (3515 Miskolc-Egyetemváros, University of Miskolc, Bolyai University Dormitory building E/1), park your car in the parking lot and obtain your accreditation 

• You can leave your car on campus for the duration of the championship

DEPARTURE

• OC will be asked to confirm your teams departure plan on the accreditation.
• Transportation on your departure day will be communicated to you at least a day prior your
  departure.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

 Athletes & Officials: OC provide dedicated buses from accommodation to sports facilities, in accordance with the tournament schedule.

• Bus schedules and maps will be available in the accreditation centre and all info points!
• Athletes, Officials and Volunteers: EUC bus lines and free public transport with accreditation card (2 tram / 45 bus lines)
• Direct transfer for Opening Ceremony
• Taxi service for EUSA and VIPs
