What are the COVID restrictions?
The lifting of epidemiological entry restrictions means that, from Monday the 7th of March 2022, travellers can enter Hungary without the need for vaccination or immunity certificates, or any kind of test or quarantine obligation. Simultaneously, the lifting of the special rules of access for certain services and events means that vaccination certificates are no longer required for entry to indoor congresses or conferences, accommodation establishments, spas, sporting or cultural events, music and dance festivals, or outdoor events of any kind. The wearing of masks in public spaces is no longer mandatory. Hand disinfection stations still available in all venues.
Will be there medical service at the sports venues?
All sport venues shall have a medical team on duty during competition and official training times.
What should I do if I have a sports injury?
If you are injured during training, contact your local organiser immediately, and they will help you treat the injury properly. If you are injured at the competition venue, contact the medical team immediately.
What should I do, if I do not feel safe?
In any case, you can contact any member of the OC. The most important task of our volunteers, organisers and colleagues, is to ensure the safety and well-being of the participants.
Will be there security guards at the accommodation?
Each property has its own reception service, open 24 hours a day, where reception staff or security guards are responsible for the protection of persons and property.
Can I go to someone else's accommodation if I am not staying in that building?
It is not possible to visit other accommodation. There are a lot of community sites in the event area, suitable for organising meetings.
What should I do, if I see any damage?
In case of damage or crime, the nearest security guard, information point staff or OC organisers must be informed immediately. In this case, the organizers will take immediate action. The witness's report will be documented in a written report.
What happens if I cause damage or violated the rules?
In case of damage or crime, the nearest security guard, information point staff or OC organisers must be informed immediately. In this case, our staff will take immediate action. In all cases, compensation for the caused damage must be paid by the offender or his/her official representative.
