The days are going by rather fast and before we know it is time to pack your bags and hit the road!

We have gathered a couple of useful information for you that you should know upon arrival:

• ARRIVAL

• Official Airport #1 (Liszt Ferenc International Airport, BUD)

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the bus that takes you to Miskolc

• The trip takes approx 2 hours

• Official Airport #2 (International Airport Debrecen, DEB)

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the bus that takes you to Miskolc

• The trip takes approx 2 hours

• Train Station: Tisza International Train Station, Miskolc

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the shuttle that takes you to Campus 

• The trip takes approx. 10 mins

• Bus Station: International Bus Station, Miskolc

• A group of volunteers will be there to greet you and guide you to the shuttle that takes you to Campus 

• The trip takes approx. 10 mins

• Driving your own vehicle

• Arrive to University of Miskolc  (3515 Miskolc-Egyetemváros, University of Miskolc, Bolyai University Dormitory building E/1), park your car in the parking lot and obtain your accreditation 

• You can leave your car on campus for the duration of the championship

• ACCREDITATION

• The accreditation centre for athletes, officials and volunteers will be located on the campus of the University of Miskolc, at the ground floor room of dormitory E/1.

• Here your Head of Delegation (HoD) must check-in your team and collect the accreditation badges

• In order to obtain them, HoD must have the following documents:

• Official documents of each participant (passport/ID - the same you used for individual entry)

• Printed individual entry form, stamped and signed by the university (Certificate of Academic Eligibility)

• Signed declaration of liability 

• Signed accommodation policy 

• Proof of payment

• You must wear your accreditation badges during the championship at all times

• CATERING

• There are several catering zones for competitors, volunteers and judges, and technical staff. 

• Gluten-, lactose-free and vegetarian food is available and there will be daily menus available in the restaurants.

• Please see the list of catering zones for water polo athletes and officials

• ZONE 1 - University Restaurant 

• breakfast, lunch and dinner 

• Access to the zones will require QR codes placed on the accreditation card

• ACCOMMODATION 

• All athletes and officials will be staying at UNI-HOTEL Student’s Hostel 

• There will be a dedicated info point in the main lobby

• Additional services - please see a more detailed list here

• Laundry

• Meeting room

• TRANSPORTATION

• Dedicated buses will be available from the accommodation to the sports facilities, in accordance with the tournament schedule.

• Bus schedules and maps will be available in the accreditation centre and all info points!

• GTM
  • The GTM meeting is on 13 July (Thursday) at 14:00 at Lecture Hall III at the University of Miskolc
